The Story.

After Mario recives an invitation from Princess Peach Toadstool to come to her castle and have cake he enters and finds that the castle is empty without a trace of her and hears the words "No one is home! Now scram! Bwa, ha, ha." Mario then begins to search the castle and finds that most of the doors are locked soon after finding an open door he finds the largest painting that he has ever seen and wthout a second thought he jumps at the painting and is drawn into another world that opens before his eyes. And so begins the grandest of all adventures!

Tips For Beginers.

There are many way to measue success in Super Mario 64. In most areas, you can find six stars and an extra star if you collect 100 coins. There are 120 stars in the game but, you do not have to collect all of them to access all of the areas of the game or to defeat bowser. Your goal is to free Peach by defating Bowser three times by doing this you will see one of the best ending sequences ever!
Here are some tips.
1. Find the easiest way to find all of the stars.
2. Read the titles of the stages carefully they will give you clues on how to find all of the stars.
3. Try different camera angles to find some stars you may find an easier route to get to it.
4. Find as many extras lives as you can you never know when they will come in handy.
